Happy Summer Solstice
I love summer, maybe its because I am a June baby….I have always been drawn to the light.
Today is the first day of summer and is the longest day of the year. gifting us the most hours of day light….For a moment, before it turns back around and heads south, the sun will briefly appear to stand still. That’s where the word “solstice” comes from — in Latin, sol means “sun” and sistere means “to stand still” …..how Magical!
The other day I was deeply moved by the morning light, I stood in awe of the love and beauty emanating from the flowers, the angelic bird song and was reminded that “Heaven is here on Earth.”
HOW DOES NATURE MOVE YOU?
In the stillness, I cried tears of joy as I became one with the birds, the flowers and creator. When we are grieving, even joy seems impossible at times, however, I am beginning to feel more and more joy flood into my life again and it's beautiful and healing.
Healing Through Nature
This peaceful sacred moment of communion was deeply moving, quenching my soul, and inspired this new painting - the peaceful energy flowing organically into my artwork.
May your summer (or Winter, depending on where you are living) be filled with abundant love and light and the freedom and good health to wander and wonder at our beautiful Mother Earth and all her inhabitants.
Bless you all on this sacred Summers Day. With love and gratitude, Marghanita x
